The National Libraries (Bishan and the Main library shown) have become so well-lit that it is a pleasure to just be inside to pretend the world outsideis cooler than it is.In the main library, multiple rooftop gardens contain a variety of native plants from limes to palms. A local photographer gives a tour of his pictures of sliding doors, while a omnimous clouds (though it actually never rains) provide contrast to the downtown scenery.
