It seems to me this location is over-saturated with flag-sellers. I remember selling flags in 1992 (see <a href="http://www.msky.org/myweb/flag_selling.html">Revelations of a charity flag seller</a>) and my experience was that all the popular spots with high human traffic seem to be taken up very early!
