Although we arguably visited Shenandoah National Park outside its peak season, the experience was still nothing but memorable for the sense of vastness and the power of nature. There are too many sights that could not be captured on film, especially the climb upBear Fence mountain for a 360 degree of the park, not to mention the mad dash down when werealised it was going to be pitch dark and we did not bring a torchlight!Definitely worth a repeat visit to the trails in summer and in fall, for the waterfalls, gullies, and the wildlife.
